Add “wow” to your projects by setting rules to deliberately arrange the stripe and pattern repeats. This approach is ever so simple — you can set your rules and change them at will. It is so rewarding as you can create a rhythm as you stitch — the resulting fabric will be interesting, but the reason why may not be obvious to onlookers. And this also works for mixing stitches and textures as well!
Shopping your stash will take on new meaning as you take the leftover yarns, the odd skeins, and one-of-a-kind treasures then stripe-them-up into a masterpiece. This can apply to almost any craft. You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create something interesting and beautiful with just a few rules and so little effort.
