Nothing screams classic crochet like the iconic granny square. This sweet little motif is experiencing a renaissance and it’s about time you got in on the trend. In this class you’ll learn the basics of how to create a traditional granny square, as well as color-change techniques, the join-as-you-go method, and the proper finishing steps. Throughout the class, we’ll address common granny square questions and pro-level tips to elevate your upcoming projects.

Basic crochet stitches (chain, slip stitch, and US double crochet)
Supply list
•Worsted-weight yarn (at least 2 colors, 100g each)
•5.5mm crochet hook
•Crochet Basics: Sharp scissors, Notebook, Pen or pencil with eraser, Stitch markers, Tapestry needles (large and small), Tape measure, Small calculator, Crochet hooks of various sizes
