Description

People are often surprised to learn they can make their own leggings, but guess what? YOU CAN! And you don’t even need a serger to sew with knits. Cal will show you how to draft a pattern for this wardrobe essential, based on your own measurements. Then we’ll stitch up a first-draft fit sample, which most likely can become a “wearable muslin”, and adjust our patterns if necessary. Cal will demonstrate the waistband and other finishing steps so that you have all the info you need to proceed in making a pair of real-live leggings. You’ll never buy them off the rack again!

Special skills or knowledge needed to take this class:
Please have at least advanced-beginner sewing skills, with a few simple projects under your belt. Must be comfortable using a sewing machine.
