My name is Jean Elizabeth Glass, and I own a craft business. Actually, I have owned many craft businesses. I have sold hand-made crafts in the French Market in New Orleans, had a brick and mortar store, sold at craft shows and music festivals, and currently sell on-line and at fiber shows. I teach, design and— the thing I am most proud of is helping support 25 other small businesses.

I think a business is a living thing that needs to grow with you and with your customers. I have picked up so many tips and tricks over the years, and I would love to share them with you to help you create your business. It can be so rewarding to have a small business. It is a lot of work, but it is totally worth it.

I have been doing craft fairs for about 10 years now and it is nice to know that I am doing most of it right. The information was given in a very approachable manner, not at all intimidating. My weakest area is pricing my items, I believe that I now have the tools to price more accurately. Thanks! Would love to take more classes from Jean Glass in the future.

Some good ideas

Jean is adorable and knows her stuff. That being said, with masks in place she should have been given a microphone so all could hear. More specific information, or a handout would have helped. It was more informal and chit/chat than a course. Felt it could have been accomplished in a couple of hours or as market event. Need to have water in room and note pads.
