Sensational Slip Stitches

I absolutely loved the class. We learned several slipped stitch techniques and patterns that will be very helpful in creating new garments. The instructor was very helpful, and spent time with each attendee to ensure they were following the instructions correctly and assist with any difficulties. So fun! The one thing I would suggest for future Stitches events would be to provide more detailed directions on which materials to bring. I understand this is limitation because the written materials are submitted months in advance, but it would be good if the instruction could post updated directions.

Barry Klein came to class armed with an arsenal of samples and suggestions. This class should be labeled for all skill levels, but mostly for the adventurous. Barry's stash of yarn is very helpful in getting his students outside their comfort zone. There is not time enough in three hours to try many designs, but Barry was aware of that and made lots of suggestions to help us try out designs on our own.

It was a very informative class. The instructor was extremely helpful and I hope he comes back next year.

Great handouts and did several different stitches. Learned the stitches and also how different yarns and various colors add to or detract from stitches. A really friendly, engaging instructor.
