fun with rope and fabric

I have been sewing for decades, though making a fabric rope bowl was new to me. Catherine is a great teacher! I took the class at stitches West and was so happy that I did. Although there are you tube videos (I have watched)on similar techniques, I like Catherine's best because she has a simplified process. She also is very patient and open to all questions during her class.

A Delightful Class and Project

I had the best time in this class! We not only made a beautiful bowl during the course of the class but we also had a great time. Catherine is a delightful teacher and she has a very clear teaching style. I had so much fun and felt so confident afterwards that I immediately started another bowl. I'm now eyeing all the bits and scraps of fabric in my stash and ordering more clothesline!

Fun project for leftovers

I enjoyed the class on fabric bowls. Great way to use up fabric and just enough creativity to make it fun! The instructor was organized and had lots of examples. I was able to follow along quite easily. Enjoyed the class.
