Description
In this 6-hour class, suitable for both spindle and wheel spinners, there’s time to explore the structure of the fractal ply. First, we’ll start with the traditional 2-ply fractal by working with a braid of hand-dyed top in a gradient progression. Next, Esther will share her tips for creating your own striping colorways on blending boards, hackles, and drum carders. We’ll go on to experiment with layered plying and colorplay in crepe and cable fractal plying.
