I had so much fun with this Pop-on pinafore class. It was a great experience to sew in community with others. Sonya holds a great class space, balancing helpful instruction with a fun, social atmosphere. I would take any class that Sonya teaches in the future!

I LOVED this class. I wondered when I signed up for this class if it would be too basic for me. It was not! Sonya took us through the process, showed us how to alter a pattern, how to adapt a basic pattern to make uddles of variations. I can't wait to take another class from Sonya next year!

Kindly, generous and encouraging, makes it all seem easy. Good beginner methods, plus some more unusual ones which make things easier. An excellent teacher, with many extra tips in the answers to questions. I'm a slow sewer so I didn't make a garment in 8 hours, but many people made it look perfectly possible 😀 (I would have liked the videos to be available for longer.)

Excellent class. This was my first Stitches event and I selected a good one! I've sewed off and on for over 50 years and picked up so many good sewing tips. I liked the pace and size of the class. Sonya included all of us in the discussions. Will definitely take another class with Sonya. The whole experience was happy.

This class was spectacular in a number of ways. First of all, 8 hours is exactly what was needed to cover all the material without rushing and leaving students behind. Secondly, a number of great tips and techniques were covered in-depth for modifying different aspects of a pattern, something I will use in future. Lastly, the instructor was not only very knowledgeable, but always upbeat, and always ready to help, as well as being generous and precise in her explanations and demonstrations. I will look for her for more project classes.
