I attended the fashion show with a friend and we both enjoyed it. The garments were absolutely beautiful. The narrator was wonderful as she described each item, but did not rush through the description. I only had a few issues: depending where you sat, the lighting was a bit too dark and, once again, there were no clear instructions on how to be eligible for the raffle. When and where does one sign up for it? So we missed out on maybe winning a prize. Bummer! Overall, it was a wonderful show. Thank you to all that made it possible! So fun! I really enjoyed the fashion show, which featured many hand knits from the vendors booths modeled professionally on a runway with good lighting. The knit clothing and accessories really become alive when you see them on a live person instead of hanging on a hanger or wall. It really helped me to see how amazing and beautiful the knit designs and yarns are when someone is wearing them.
Loved the garments, accesorries, models, MC, announcer, music, lighting - all of it. Got lots of design ideas. My only criticism is that I didn't win any of the giveaways. I enjoyed the fashion show, as always. I liked the runway rather than a stage. My only suggestion is for the models to spread their arms when walking with a shawl rather than wrapping it around themselves. Sometimes it was hard to see the shawl. Other than that, I enjoyed it, and Stitches immensely. Show was very nice. Love to see the vendors takes on what's new and how you can use their yarns. I enjoyed seeing the items and searched out several of them to see at the vendors. I do not know how attendees' names were obtained to be placed into the drawing at the end and would have liked to have been included. The prizes were very generous. My one suggestion is that each piece be stretched out as much as possible so that the viewers can see as much of the piece as possible. The fashion show was well organized and paced. The prizes were appreciated. The venue was not the best, but the organizers did well with what they had. They did well to overcome staffing problems.
The narration and program did a good job of describing each item, so we could visit the vendors with the info. Many generous prizes were also given away and I was lucky to have won some beautiful yarn.
