About Kristin Drysdale
Kristin Drysdale’s knitting adventure began on a study-abroad trip to Norway. Inspired by all the beautiful sweaters of the region, she bought patterns, then learned to knit when she returned home to Salt Lake City and was introduced to sweater design by Nancy Bush. Inspired by additional trips to Austria and Norway and her Scandinavian heritage, she began designing and teaching. Her recently released The Nordic Knitting Primer reminds us, “Knit something you love!”
Her passion continues to be Scandinavian knitting — all the techniques, especially stranded colorwork. Her goal is to foster independence and confidence in knitters. Most of all, she tells her students, even her beginners, “Knit something you love!”
