About Linda Pietz
Having grown up in a family of artists, Linda’s medium of choice is fiber. It all started when taught by a great aunt to knit at the age of four, and she has never looked back. With a BFA and California teaching credentials in both Fine Arts and Arts and Crafts, she has extensive experience designing needlework, writing articles for craft magazines, and co-authoring five books with her sister Nola Heidbreder who also hooked all the portraits of the presidents (at the time, 44) that Linda designed! Linda teaches at various venues across the country including Sauder Village’s Rug Hooking Week and the Shelburne in Vermont.
