Susan Lazear has taught fashion and design workshops around the world.
She is a Professor of Fashion at Mesa College in San Diego where she teaches fashion: Textiles, Pattern Making, Textile Design, Clothing Construction, and Fashion History.
In addition to her teaching, she is a computer graphic artist and designs wearable art that combines sewing and knitting skills in mixed-media apparel.
Susan teaches sustainable fashion, surface design, dyeing, garment design and more. Susan’s combined knowledge and skills are evident in the Cochenille Design Studio name: a software line for knitters, sewists, and textile artists.
